FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE RenTrain, Inc/Masterental.com Merge to Form Single Entity Boulder, CO, October 9, 2001 - Jim Ziegler, CEO of RenTrain, Inc announced today that his company has finalized a merger with Masterental.com, Inc. The new company will operate as RenTrain, Inc, but Masterental.com will still maintain a branded presence on the company's new website and on many of the products and services RenTrain offers. RenTrain also will maintain Masterental.com's Asheville, NC office as the primary sales and marketing location. Ziegler did not disclose terms of the deal. As part of the merger, RenTrain has put in place a new management team. In addition to Ziegler, the new team includes Eric Lillybeck, Chief Financial Officer, Steven Lillybeck, Vice President - Publishing, Bart Black, Vice President - Sales & Marketing, Shawn Nussbaum, Chief Technology Officer and Linda Sease, Office Manager. "RenTrain and Masterental formed a strategic alliance at the beginning of this year," Ziegler said. "As we began to work more closely together we determined that our respective companies would better serve the rental market if we formed a single entity.
