TOP 10 FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS:


1) What forms of payment do you accept?
We accept cash, checks, and credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, Discover & American Express).

Payment is due up front. We also require proof of identity (i.e. a valid driver's license).


2) How many hours is a daily rental?
A daily rental is equivalent to 24 hours in your possession. On some equipment, such as tractors, chippers, compressors, and large generators, there is an 8 hour limit to the 24 hour rental period. You are charged for the rental items whether you use them or not.

NOTE: Party items are rented on an "Event" basis, not a 24 hour period.


3) What is the minimum amount of time I can rent a piece of equipment for?
The minimum rental on equipment varies depending on what you rent. Some of our equipment have 2 or 4 minimum rates.


4) Can I return equipment after hours?
No, all equipment must be returned during regular business hours (7 AM - 5 PM Mon.-Sat. We are closed Sundays.)

Arrangements for an after hours pick-up (after we are closed) can sometimes be arranged in advance for an additional fee.


5) Do you deliver?
Yes, we charge $15.00 for delivery and $15.00 for pick up within 5 miles of our store, then $1.00 per mile beyond that. To determine the mileage, we will enter the delivery address into our GPS system. Note: Some items have a delivery fee built into their prices as long as the delivery site is within 10 miles of our store.

Equipment will be unloaded on site but you are responsible for moving it to the desired location for set-up. The equipment must then be moved back and stacked at the drop-off location for pick up to avoid an additional fee.

Arrangements for an after hours pick-up (after we are closed) can sometimes be arranged in advance for an additional fee.


6) Do you set up & break-down tables and chairs?
Yes, we do offer this service for an additional fee. The fee is:

Per chair: .15¢ set-up and .15¢ break-down
Per table: .50¢ set-up and .50¢ break-down


7) What do I do if the equipment is not working properly?
Unfortunately, equipment does sometimes malfunction and we apologize for any inconvenience this may cause you. Please call us IMMEDIATELY to notify us of the problem so that we can either bring out replacement equipment or stop the clock on your rental. Call our office at: 625-7110. Leave a message if the answering machine picks up as we check the messages after hours.


8) Do you charge tax on rentals?
Yes, we are required to charge sales tax on our rental items unless your company is tax exempt.

Notice to tax exempt entities: We must have a copy of your current tax exemption certificate on file or you will be charged tax.


9) How much is your damage waiver?
We do not charge a damage waiver. You will be charged for items that are damaged (beyond reasonable wear & tear) and for any parts that are not returned with the equipment. You will also be charged for items lost as a result of theft while the equipment is in your possession. For details, please see the back of your contract.


10) What size vehicle do I need to tow a trailer?
We require a ¾ ton vehicle or larger to tow all our dual-axle trailers. This includes our car trailer, equipment trailers, 5'x12' box trailers, and car dolly. We do not have a minimum vehicle requirement for our small single axle trailers.
