EQUIPMENT ATTENDANT
The Equipment Attendant position is an entry level position.
General duties and responsibilities include:
•
Greeting customers and keeping them informed
of new equipment
•
Checking rental contracts to be sure the right
equipment goes out
•
Checking fluid levels in equipment before loading
•
Instructing customers in the proper use of equipment
•
Loading and unloading equipment
•
Cleaning and servicing vehicles and equipment
•
Maintaining the clean and professional appearance
of the rental yard
•
Keeping work station clean and stocked with service
tags and fuel
•
Delivering and picking up equipment and supplies
•
Checking equipment for damage upon return, notifying
the counter of damage, and filling out service
tags for all returned equipment.
Performing other related duties as needed
This position requires that you:
•
Have a mechanical background
•
Be able to lift 50 lbs.
•
Work outside in various climates
•
Work on weekends
•
Maintain a professional personal appearance
•
Pass the company required drug screening
•
Have valid driver's license
•
Speak and write clearly
•
Have a good driving record
•
Maintain an acceptable attendance record
•
Be able to perform all duties well within 3 months
